What's putting me off is the very thing people seem to love most--Rust's soliloquies. They sound ridiculous to my ears. Yes, it fits with the pulp fiction/Tennessee Williams style, but I can't quite tell if these monologues are meant to make him look childish or if it's just me. Can you tell me more about why you like Rust's dialogue? Maybe I need to hear a new perspective.
